Finished for Woobie Last June I got layed off from my job of 21 years and found a sick kitten outside in a box. Her eyes were all matted shut and mother had left her to die. I brought her in and she became my special needs kitty named Woobie. The vet treated her and she received all my attention after loosing one of her eyes from the infection. She was a real trooper she followed me everywhere and never left my side was like one of my kids since I dont have kids. If I drew she was there setting on my shoulder being a little angel not chasing my pencil just watching to see what I was doing in between cat naps. Since she had the bad eye she would cry and drip tears on my drawings once in a while her eye always ran. In Feb I got called back to work and she was doing good till may. The vet had her on meds for a kitty cold that keep coming back and I ran out of medicine and gave her some other med and she had a bad reaction to it and passed away in my arms that night I have never had anything die in my arms. The guilt from letting her down is unbearable. The knowing that I will never see her again.....She was sitting on my shoulder when I started the Skull pencil drawing she never got to see it finished. In her memory I finished it for her.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
